The Primary Section of Progressive English School has taken a remarkable step in nurturing young journalists by launching a weekly student newspaper, "The Prime Time", on 25th March 2025. This initiative aims to develop journalism skills from an early age, allowing students to explore the world of reporting, writing, and editing.
Through "The Prime Time", students transform into budding journalists, covering school events, classroom activities, fun facts, creative stories, and more. This platform not only hones their writing and communication skills but also enhances their confidence, teamwork, and creativity. Under the careful guidance of teachers, students take charge of the newspaper, making it a unique and engaging project.
The magazine was officially released by Mr.Sabir V K. Vice Principal, Progressive English School, marking a significant mile-stone for the school. The students received valuable guidance and mentorship from Mr.Muhammed Jabir and Ms.Sajna B.S, teachers of our school ensuring a strong foundadation for their journalistic journey. The edito-rial responsibilities were efficiently handled by Ehan Fahad and Rayhan Muhammed.P from class VE, who played a crucial role in shaping the content. Moreover, every class in the primary section has its own dedicated student reporter, ensuring diverse coverage and representation.
This initiative is a commendable effort in fostering young minds to express themselves, think critically, and step into the world of journalism. With The Prime Time, the students of Progressive English School have found a voice, proving that little voices can indeed make big news!
