As part of the Professional Progress Program, an orientation session titled "Understanding Slow Learners" was hosted by Progressive English School at the Wadihuda auditorium on Wednesday, July 2, 2024. The program commenced with a prayer. Ms. Sujithra R., Principal of Progressive English School, delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the critical importance of identifying and supporting students who require special attention. The session was led by Mr. N.U. Hashim, an Educational Therapist and Director of the Spell Learning Support Center. His presentation provided in-depth insights into the challenges faced by slow learners and strategies for educators to effectively support these students.
Teachers from Progressive English School, Heavens Pre School, and Wadihuda Higher Secondary School attended the session, benefiting from the valuable knowledge shared to enhance their teaching practices. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Sabir V.K., Vice Principal of Progressive English School, who expressed gratitude to all participants and highlighted the significance of ongoing professional development for educators.
