Under the auspices of the Hindi Club of Progressive English School, a series of exciting competitions were organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of the renowned writer Premchand, celebrated as Premchand Jayanti on 31st July. The events aimed to foster creativity and enthusiasm for the Hindi language among students.
Two key competitions were held: a poster-making competition for Class 6 students, testing their artistic skills and understanding of Hindi literature, and a greeting card-making competition for Class 7 students, encouraging participants to express their creativity and festive spirit. Azzam Fehmy from Class VI.B won the poster-making competition with his impressive artwork and command of the Hindi language, while Saravana from Class VII.B won the greeting card-making competition with a thoughtful and creative design.
The Premchand Jayanti celebrations at the school were a great success, offering students a meaningful platform to showcase their creativity and deepen their appreciation for Hindi literature. The competitions highlighted the talents of the participants and served as an inspiring tribute to the literary legacy of Premchand.
