As part of the" Nammude Bhoomi" project,the NSS unit of Wadihuda Higher Secondary school organized a one day nature study tour.Plus Two NSS volunteers participated and visited Janakikkadu,Kariyathumpara, and Peruvannamuzhi Dam in Kozhikode.It offered students a valuable experience connecting with the environment and allowed the students to witness Kerala's natural beauty and biodiversity firsthand. Exploring Janakikkad’s rich forest ecosystem, the scenic landscapes of Kariyathumpara, and the multi-faceted environment around Peruvannamuzhi Dam provided insights into the importance of preserving natural resources and biodiversity. This journey inspired the participants to cultivate a sense of environmental responsibility, promoting a lifelong commitment to conservation and sustainability.
