As part of the "Upajeevanam" project, the NSS unit of Wadi Huda Higher Secondary School took a significant step toward promoting sustainable living by distributing egg laying chicken and Muscovy ducks to selected residents of the Haritha Gramam Colony. This initiative aims to provide the residents with a source of livelihood and enhance their self-sufficiency. It was sponsored by Shamila Kovvappurath, a Plus Two NSS volunteer, showcasing her commitment to community welfare.
The event took place in the presence of School Principal, NSS volunteers, and the program officer, Principal, Mr. Sajith Kumar, who officially handed over the chickens and ducks to the beneficiaries. This thoughtful initiative reflects the collective efforts of the NSS unit to support rural communities and encourage eco-friendly practices.
