The Salvation 24-25 program was a vibrant celebration of Kerala’s cultural heritage, with Grade VI students enthusiastically showcasing various Nadan Kali (traditional games). These performances not only entertained the audience but also highlighted the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and social interaction, while discouraging excessive mobile phone use, which can negatively impact children's vision, behavior, and concentration.
The event series began on 6 January 2024, with Grade VI students presenting Nadan Kali - Poo Parikkan Porumo during Salvation 23-24, Day-2. On 7 January 2024, they continued their spirited participation with Nadan Kali - Kula Kula Munthiri on Day-3. Moving forward to 8 January 2025, the Grade VI C boys captivated the audience with Nadan Kali - Kuttiyum Kolum on Salvation 24-25, Day-4, adding energy and excitement to the program.
The celebrations continued on 13 January 2025, with Grade VI E girls presenting Nadan Kali - മരം പിടിക്കൽ on Day-5. The Grade VI C boys then performed Nadan Kali - അം തിന്നൽ on 14 January 2025 (Day-6). Further excitement was brought by the Grade VI B girls on 20 January 2025, with their performance of Nadan Kali - കുളം കര on Day-10.
On 21 January 2025, the Grade VI A boys participated with Nadan Kali - ഗോലി കളി on Day-11, followed by the Grade VI D boys on 22 January 2025, who concluded the series with Nadan Kali - കള്ളനും പോലീസും on Day-12.
These traditional games helped students develop physical strength, teamwork, and cultural awareness, reinforcing the importance of Kerala’s rich heritage while promoting a healthier lifestyle. The initiative made Salvation 24-25 a memorable and meaningful experience for all participants.
