Progressive successfully organized orien-tation sessions on February 19, 2025, for the parents of Class 7 students and the students of Class 6, aiming to provide valuable insights into student develop-ment and well-being.
The parents' session commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Babu T, Head Teacher, followed by the inauguration by Ms. Suchithra R., Principal. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Haris Mahmood, a distin-guished family counselor, psychothera-pist, and trainer, led the session, offering expert guidance on parenting and student support. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sabir V.K., Vice Prin-cipal, who expressed gratitude to all attendees.
The students' session began with a warm welcome from Muhammed Mustafa (VIII D), followed by an insightful introduction by the Vice Principal, Mr. Sabir V.K. The keynote speaker. Mr. Haris Mahmood, delivered an engaging talk covering crucial topics such as stress manage-ment, exam preparation, phone addiction, emotional intelligence (EQ) and intelli-gence quotient (IQ) development, drug awareness, and good manners. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Shazib (VIII B), marking the end of a highly informative and enriching experi-ence for both parents and students.
The orientation sessions provided valuable learning opportunities and rein-forced the importance of holistic develop-ment in students' academic and personal lives.
