The inauguration of the Students' Home Union at Ibn al-Haytham Academy concluded successfully, marked by enthusiastic participation and inspiring speeches. The event began with a grand inauguration by Wadihuda Group of Institutions' Managing Director, Sap Abdul Salam. The keynote address was delivered by Shamseer Ibrahim, CEO of Maktoob Media, who is also the Welfare Party State Secretary and former National President of the Fraternity Movement.
Shihas H., Deputy Director of Ibn al-Haytham Academy, delivered the presidential address, followed by N.M. Shafeeq, the manager of the academy's Students' Home, who officially declared the new union leaders. The gathering was also addressed by esteemed guests, including Dr. Akhil Ramachandran, Vice Principal of Wiras College; Muhammad Muhsin CA, Principal of Wadihuda Womens Academe; PK Hydorose, Academic Coordinator at Wadihuda Group of Institutions; and Mr. Sabir, Vice Principal of Progressive English School.
The program opened with a warm welcome speech by Ayesha Renna, the Students' Dean. Arshad CK, the caretaker and Union Election Returning Officer, delivered the vote of thanks. The newly elected union leaders, Chairman Shamil Bin Ashraf, Vice Chairperson Suhana Salah, and General Secretary Nadia Nazar, addressed the gathering, embracing their new responsibilities with confidence and enthusiasm.
The event concluded on a high note with various cultural programs and performances, adding a festive touch to the ceremony. The inaugural ceremony was indeed a memorable and inspiring occasion for all attendees.
