The PTA General Body Meeting for classes III to VII was held on Wednesday, July 2, 2024, in the school auditorium. The session commenced with a prayer by the school choir, setting a serene tone for the event. Ms. Sujithra R., Principal of Progressive English School, delivered the welcome speech. The presidential address was given by Ms. Haseena V.K., PTA President. The event was formally inaugurated by Mr. Muhammed Sajid P.K., Director of Education at Wadihuda Group of Institutions. In his address, he highlighted the recent academic achievements of the school and commended the collaborative efforts of parents, teachers, and students. General message was conveyed by Mr. Farooq Usman, Secretary of TIT and Director of Finance at Wadihuda Group of Institutions, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation between the school and the PTA. Ms. Ajitha P., Head Teacher of the primary section, provided essential instructions to parents, ensuring everyone was well-informed about the school's policies and expectations. An orientation session for parents was conducted by Mr. N.U. Hashim, an educational therapist and Director of Spell Learning Support Centre, Thrissur. His thought-provoking session offered valuable insights into the dynamics of 21st-century students, the pivotal role of parents, and practical strategies for parental involvement in their children's growth. He also delivered a special talk on "Helping Your Child to Learn and Online Safety," which resonated deeply with the attendees. The meeting also included the election of the PTA Executive Members for the year 2024-25, ensuring continued leadership and support for the school's initiatives. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sabir V.K., Vice Principal of Progressive English School, expressing gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and contribution to the school community.
