As a part of the CBSE's initiative under Health and Physical Education (HPE) to ensure the overall health and development of students, PROGRESSIVE ENGLISH SCHOOL organized a comprehensive health camp on 10th and 11th September 2024. This camp aimed to create awareness about health, monitor students' well-being, and address any potential health issues at an early stage. Vision Plus, a reputed eye care center at Kannur, partnered with us to provide a detailed eye examination for all students. Their team of professionals checked for common eye issues such as refractive errors, color blindness, and other vision-related concerns. Each student was given a detailed report, and those requiring further treatment were advised to consult an ophthalmologist for corrective measures. The dental health of students was checked by experts from Asma Aesthetic Clinic. Dr Sajjad and Dr Vismaya conducted thorough dental examinations to check for cavities, gum issues, and overall dental hygiene. Students were given personalized advice on maintaining good oral health, with emphasis on regular brushing, flossing, and dietary habits. The students' blood pressure and pulse rates were recorded to assess their cardiovascular health. This check-up aimed to ensure early detection of any abnormal heart-related issues. The Health and Physical Education department committed to following up with parents regarding any health concerns observed during the camp and will continue to organize such initiatives to foster a healthier student community.
