On 12 December 2024, Progressive English School observed Human Rights Day to commemorate the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations in 1948. The event, conducted for grade VIII students, began with a welcome address by Ms. Beefathu, Section Head. Mr. Sabir V.K, Vice Principal, delivered the presidential address. The highlight of the day was a session by Mr. Mustafa Ibrahim, Secretary of WGI, who underscored the enduring relevance of human rights. He spoke about their role in promoting equality, justice, and dignity while addressing the ongoing struggles against violations. His thought-provoking talk encouraged students to become advocates for fairness and compassion in their communities.
