On 28 February 2025, Progressive English School celebrated National Science Day to honor the discovery of the Raman Effect.
In the Primary Section, Ms. Swaliha Rafeek, a kayaking champion and former student, shared her experiences. A quiz and speech competition were also held.
In the Main Section, a spot quiz engaged students from grades VI to VIII, followed by speeches on National Science Day, Sir C.V. Raman, and the benefits of science. The highlight of the event was a live demonstration of experiments by grade VII students.
