The EXCELZIA – WIRAS Annual Merit Day 2024-25 was a resounding success, celebrating the outstanding achievements of students in academics, sports, arts, and more. The event, held with great enthusiasm, honored the dedication and hard work of the WIRAS community.
The program commenced with a Welcome Address by Mr. Arsh A. Majeed, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, followed by inspiring speeches from Dr. Aboo Ishaque, Principal, and Er. Muhammed Riyas T.K, Director, WIRAS. A Keynote Address was delivered by Mr. Ali Kutty, Executive Officer, adding to the significance of the occasion.
This year’s awards included Best Paper Presentations, University Kalotsavam achievements, intercollegiate sports successes, library milestones, the prestigious Diligent Student Award, and the coveted Student of the Year Awards.
Dignitaries such as Dr. Akhil R, Vice Principal, Dr. Vineethkumar V, Research Director, and Ms. Nivedya Das, Staff Advisor & HoD, English Department, delivered felicitations, while department heads actively participated in honoring the awardees.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Afeef Abdul Kareem, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology. EXCELZIA 2024-25 was a true testament to the institution's commitment to fostering excellence, reminding everyone that success stems from persistence, teamwork, and passion.
